In part three from Boomer, he continues the mini series within Logic Knot, regarding the subject of balance within the Limit Hold 'em variant. The third installment will see boomer practically expanding upon a few hand-selected examples in an attempt to refine a strategy which is balanced, yet random enough to avoid exploitation by our opponent.

11:55 - You say "Our opponent gets 6,5 to 1 odds, so we have to make our call- range about 75-80%"Actually we get 7 to 1 odds and habe to call with 7/8= 88% of our range, am not I right?

Why don't we add A5 to our bluff-range? It's the most suitable hand after A4.22:30 - " Small blind can easily fold with A8" It's not the trurh, our range is: 88+,33-22, AKs,A8s,A4s, K2+,T9s,65s,54s,AKo,A8o,K5o+,T9o
A8 has 23% Equity for Calldown. Necessary is only 20%, so It's good call here. Although we have only 15%.

Hi there, sorry for the delay in replyingWhen we are calculating continuing range you look at the odds your opponent is getting not the odds that we are getting.
The goal of balanced play is to make the opponent indifferent to bluffing us we have to fold 1 in 7.5 times.
If we were to fold more than that his bet on the flop would be profitable by default even if he x/f'd or folded to any further action

A5 is a potential hand to add to our bluffing range but the problem with that is that we're turning SD value hands into bluffs which also cause us problemsMaybe I was over-exagerrating a little but with rake A8o is barely profitable (probably b/e at best) and that hand is a borderline monster on this board and being able to even think about folding it vs our range means our range is unbalance and too strong

Also just checked it I said "Maybe be able to fold A8o even 99 and can easily fold 77-"
