      na toll!

      endlich die 2000 punkte erspielt. ele 0.5 runtergeladen und installiert. gestartet und stundenlang passiert nix außer permanentem blinken der festplattenleuchte ...

      also: ele abgeschossen, die db platt gemacht, ele neu gestartet, neue db eingerichtet (inkl. anpassung der buffer, etc.) , und HURRA! es funzt.

      0,5 mio hände importiert (ca. 4 h). danach ele beendet, db runtergefahren, defrag, db rauf, reindex, db runter, defrag

      so. nun ele gestartet, nach ein paar minuten (warum???) kommt er hoch

      4 tische auf party aufgemacht und beim ersten mal FOLD drücken ein 3 minuten freeze!!! arghhhh

      beim nächsten raise wieder ein mehrminütiges freeze!!! f...

      das ist kein beta, das ist maximal alpha-software!!!

      dann ist dein pc wohl nicht ausreichend leistungsstark für 0,5 mio hände.

      Du kannst ja die Datenbank löschen und ne neuen machen und nur 0,1mio. hände einügen. Dann wird es wahrscheinlich besser funzen. Aber ist wirklich schon eine sehr hungrige kombi elephant und partypoker für einen pc.

      Ich habe 0,6 mio hände und spiele auf stars ohne probleme.

      Wir sind uns der momentanen Performance Schwächen bewusst. Jedoch bin ich überrascht, dass 500.000 Hände bei dir derart Probleme zu machen scheinen. Bei mir und Galam ist damit problemloses spielen möglich.

      Darf man fragen wie dein System ausgestattet ist, um mal einschätzen zu können wo momentan die Grenzen liegen.

      CPU/RAM/Betriebsystem?

      Unsere DB wird in jedem Fall noch deutlich optimiert werden!

      Ich nehme mal an es handelt sich um dein Notebook und daher gehe ich davon aus das die Platte maximal 5400 Umdrehungen pro Minute schafft und eher langsam ist. Das ist natürlich für Datenbankanwendungen alles andere als optimal.

      Ich hab vor kurzem hier 500.000 Hände importiert was gerad mal knapp 45 Minuten gedauert hab, nebenher hab ich noch nen bissl Wc3 gespielt.

      dieser artikel ist mir wohl bekannt und wie man aus meiner postgres-konfigurationsdatei ersieht, habe ich entsprechende maßnahmen auch getätigt - ansonsten geht es aus meiner beschreibung hervor (defrag, etc.).


      ein wenig hat sich das problem dadurch entschärft, dass ich festgestellt habe, dass jedes mal, wenn man die db platt macht und dann über den ele eine neue db anlegt, wieder die ursprünglichen werte der postgres-konfiguration genommen werden.

      habe die werte also wieder drastisch hochgesetzt und nun funzt das hud wieder.

      ALLERDINGS NUR SOLANGE, BIS MAN AUF DIE IDEE KOMMT, sich während des spiels die spieler-infos bzw. -notizen anzusehen.

      DANN HAT MAN SCHON WIEDER DEN FREEZE :-S

      Es ist zum K....., gerade dann, wenn man mit den Nuts schon jede Menge in den Pott investiert hat, zuzusehen, wie der Gegner noch ein Min-Raise macht und dann man selbst nicht mehr mitgehen kann, weil die Fenster eingefroren sind.

      Taskmanager immer nebenbei auf machen und Pokerstrategieelephant.exe direkt ins Visier nehmen. Sobald irgendein Freeze auftritt sofort auf "Prozess beenden", dann geht sofort wieder alles ;)

      das mag schon sein. nur war einer der hauptgründe für mich mich hier zu registrieren, irgendwann den pt freizuspielen. doch siehe da, auf 1x heißt es: ab sofort bekommt man den ele.

      Wenn ihr wirklich so arge Problem mit den Freezes habt, dann sollte eine Batch-Datei mit folgendem Inhalt aushelfen, die ihr dann startet:
